How to cancel Audible

Quick answer: Use your credits first, then cancel on the Audible website (not the app) under Account details. Unused credits are lost when your membership ends.

Step by step

Spend any credits you have left.
On a computer, sign in at audible.com and open Account details.
Choose Cancel membership and click through to the final confirmation page.
Save the confirmation email.

Before you cancel

Books you bought stay in your library after you cancel.
Paying through Apple or Google? Cancel in that store.
Deleting the app does not cancel your membership.

Free cancellation letter

Copy it, fill in the parts in [brackets], and send it.

To Audible customer support,

Please cancel my Audible membership and stop all future charges.

Account email: [email on the account]
Date: [today's date]

Please confirm the cancellation in writing, including the date it takes effect.
